Reverend Dr. Celestine Meh Chu who is a Faith Leader and Development Strategist, was recognised by the United Nations CISRI-Cameroon in Colaboration with the GRACE2GRACE organisation, for his outstanding contributions to humanity. He was honoured as a 21st Century Iconic Transformational Apostle of Faith and Outstanding Generational Thinker.

The recognition was done for his impactful actions in nation building, humanitarian service through the gospel of Christ and community advancement, honoring a life of purpose, Intergrity, Leadership and Selfless commitment to progress, development and prosperity of Cameroon and humanity.

The award was handed by His Royal Majesty Thomas Ayuk Fotang, Chief of Barombi village, in his capacity as the Goodwill Ambassador of the UN-CISRI Cameroon.
The award ceremony took place at the Solomon Tandeng Muna Foundation in Yaounde on June 30, 2026 and was witnessed by persons from diverse backgrounds including clergymen, civil society activists, elites of Esu and family and friends of the laureate.

Separate words of acclamation from different personalities all identified Dr. Celestine Meh Chu as a well deserved award winner as many pointed to his meticulous and mosaic nature which has propelled him to a dynamic person with his works touching across people of different spectrums including orphans, widows, persons with disability, the poor, the low spirited and the hopeless. While receiving the award, Dr. Celestine Meh Chu was moved to tears and he inturn praised the community he has journeyed with and said the prize won is the result of a collective contribution of those he has journeyed with.
He paid special tributes to his wife for playing a significant role in the merriment of the prize.

Why he Merited the Award
The reasons for the award was outlined by HRM Thomas Ayuk Fotang who is an Ambassador and Advocate of Friendship under the UN-CISRI Cameroon, with endorsement from the Knights of the Highest Honor for Humanitarian Merit and the Knight Commander of Justice in the United Kingdom.
He said Dr. Celestine Meh Chu has for more than 2 decades, demonstrated impact on the forgotten.
He goes beyond tribes and denominations to solve problems as a great man of God.
He has founded 5 schools there by opening the doors to education.
He has created employment for hundreds of persons through the schools founded.
Alot have received scholarship through his educational scheme which has emerged their lives.
He led the fight for the vulnerable Balkan community.
He has demonstrated excellence in institutions and mission.
He has planted Churches across Nigeria, Cameroon and Sierra leone.
He has trained and sponsored numerous pastors.
He has touched the lives of orphans, widows and other vulnerable persons.
He was praised for believing in humanity.
He transformed lives which would continue to transform generations.
The award was symbolised with a humanitarian Badge of Honour which was conferred upon the awardee and now rests upon his shoulders. In addition to it were 2 frames, one bearing his picture and profile and the other specifying the unique achievement.
