Cameroon Infotrend Proprietor Offers School Items to Esu Youths in Yaounde

In an effort to symbolically encourage back to school within the members of the Esu Youth Development Association, Mildred Ndum Wung, offered a package of pens, rulers and pencils to fellow youths of her village in Yaounde. This was on Sunday 1st September 2024 at the youth’s meeting venue at Biyemassi. She said her initiative is to foster unity and development among the youths noting that EYDA stands for the unity and development of the youths and education is fundamental for development of the Fondom of Esu, development of Cameroon and the world.

She underlined that her offer does not measure up to the huge sacrifices which members are doing for their family for back to school but “it is just a symbol of moral support, a token of encouragement”. The items were first received by the Yaounde Branch Secretary of the Esu Youth Development Association, Zih Bodwine Kum, on behalf of the president who was unavoidably absent. Speaking while receiving the items, Mr Kum expressed gratitude noting that it is a timely gift at a time when “we are just a week away to school reopening. This would greatly encourage members and increase membership. This is the first of its kind in EYDA Yaounde and it is very appreciable, especially because because it is coming from our Vice President. The motive tells us that she herself is educated and she wants others to embrace education and be like her. We want others to copy this example for the growth of the Fondom of Esu and for the harmony of our community” Mr Kum spoke with gratitude.

Appreciation was also expressed by Rev. Ngeah Nelson, a member of EYDA Yaounde who began by blessing the donor and all the benefactors, praying for open doors into EYDA Yaounde for more gifts into the association in the days ahead. The sharing of the items was done for the members who were present and each EYDA Yaounde member received a packet of pencils, six pens and four rulers.
