Mmockmbie Credit Union Matches Actions to Words by Acquiring Car for Customer Service Membership

The Mmockmbie Cooperative Credit Union has acquired a new Service Car to enable it provide satisfactory customer outreach. The car is a Toyota Highlander which was officially inaugurated this April 29, 2024, at Etoug Ebe, Yaounde, by the Board Chair of the Credit Union, Ndi Nkembie George, together with the Manager Chief Mgezem Fortsomo Skyly. The splendour of the car glamoured in front of the staff, the board of Directors and some officials from other Credit Unions who witnessed the presentation of the new Mmockbie Cooperative Credit Union service car.


The car is the realisation of one of the cardinal decisions taken during the last Annual General Meeting, held in January 28th, 2024.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mmockmbie Credit Union is confident that the car is a factor to satisfy members and pull more. “With the car, the management would go an extra mile. The coming of the car is going to buttress the output of the credit union. It would give the possibility to go further. The secret is membership and with the coming of the car, more members would come in, and with more members, we are going to have a beautiful balance sheet” Ndi Nkembie George, Board Chair of the Credit Union said concerning the newly inaugurated car.

“We want to use this opportunity to reassure our members that our tools to marketing has been added, that our tools to service them better has been added and of course we dedicate this car to our members. We are going to use this car to render them quality services and only quality services.
We want Mmockmbie Credit Union to become a one stop Credit Union in Cameroon. We want Mmockmbie Credit Union to be that Credit Union which everybody should trust because of our services” he said.

The Mmockmbie Cooperative Credit Union is renowned in the micro finance world as one of the fastest growing credit unions which began in 2016 and now counts 20 branches in different towns and cities in Cameroon. The credit union operates modernly with the services of visa cards, credit cards and ATM machines. Membership keeps growing and members benefit a 4 percent dividend on savings and low interest rates on loans.
The newly acquired car is envisaged to catapult services to a greater level. Meantime Credit Union is on course to construction a building at Damas, Yaounde and improve its infrastructure to increasingly ensure the comfortability of members.
