The Cameroon National Koh Society also know as lah-ke-koh, has paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Wum Council, Dighambong Anthony Mvo, ahead of the great event of the laying of the foundation stone of the National Secretariat. There can’t be meaningful development without culture. These were the words of the municipal magistrate Dighambong Anthony Mvo, who called on the National exco members of CAMNALAK to impulse development through culture. According to him, Culture, in all its dimensions, is a fundamental component of sustainable development. And as a sector of activity, through creative industries and various forms of artistic expressions, culture is a powerful contributor to economic development, social stability and environmental protection. Culture also defines the way human beings live and interact both at local and global scales.
After brief exchanges, the Lord Mayor led the delegation to the ongoing construction site of the Wum Town Hall.
