Ring Road: Construction of Ndu-Binka-Nkambe at 5.17%

Work on the 31 km long Ndu-Binka-Nkambe section started a few weeks ago on the National Road No 11 which links Kumbo-Ndu-Nkambe-Misaje in the Donga Mantung division of the North-West region. On the ground, work is intensifying and MAG SARL is carrying out clearing, site preparation and earthworks, among other tasks.

As of 8 January 2024, on the Ndu-Binka-Nkambè lot, the work in progress concerns the preparation of the base of the embankments from kilometre point 62+400 to kilometre point 62+500, the excavation work between kilometre point 61+485 and kilometre point 61+705 and the excavation work between kilometre point 62+125 and kilometre point 62+285.

The company is also carrying out maintenance work on the carriageway between kilometre 39+000 and kilometre 61+400. In addition to this work, the installation of the company, including the construction of the base, is continuing. Work to install the crusher and transport quarry material to the site is also continuing. The construction project for Lot 2 of the Ring Road, Ndu-Binka-Nkambè section, began in November 2023. The ultimate aim is to build a bituminous concrete road between Ndu-Binka-Nkambe, with a width of 7 m and a 1.5 m shoulder.
