The second edition of the international Banana-plantain festival would take place in the towns of Buea, Limbe and Bangem in Cameroon from the 30th of November to the 2nd of December 2023.
Plantain and Banana as gifts of nature that sprout generously in the Southwest soil and is cherished by the people of the Southwest would bring together sons and daughters of the Region and beyond to celebrate their common values.
Sports, cultural dances and food faire among others shall be the spotlight of the festival. Banana and plantain farmers would be exalted meanwhile the food value of the crops would be magnified.
The event shall take place under the patronage of His Excellency Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroon.
