Senator Mbella Moki Expresses Zeal for Regional Development

The CPDM Senator for the Fako Division, Mbella Moki Charles, has expressed the zeal to work with other active forces in order to realize regional development. He was speaking to the press shortly after receiving official accoutrements, related to his position as senator. On April 15, 2023. He received the accoutrement together with other ninety-nine senators during an ordinary session at the Yaounde conference center.

“It is a special moment for us that comes with special responsibilities. It is a moment that challenges all of us to face the issues that are confronting the nation especially problems that are in our regions, the regions of the North-west and Southwest that are facing very enormous challenges. Challenges that would require the collective effort of each and everyone of us, from local councils to regional councils and opinion leaders in these communities. All of that would need a concerted effort of each and everyone of us. We think that these are the responsibilities and challenges that come with this new mandate. A new mandate that has brought in new blood into the senate. That has come with new dynamism in the senate. I hope that by the grace of God, the wishes of the good people of this country” Senator Mbella Moki Charles told pressmen with regards to his new term of service, as a senator.

Asked if he would maintain thesame tempo which he recorded in his previous mandate, the senator highlighted that he would be serviceable “I don’t work on promises. I work on records. My record is there, it is for me to improve on what i did before. I will continue to be who i am… By the Grace of God, i will continue to render service which i have been doing so with a lot off distinction without reproach. By the Grace of God, i will continue to do what i have done before and then so that I will pull the respect that i have been enjoying for my constituency even in this third mandate”

Senator Mbella Moki Charles was among seventy CPDM senators elected on 12th March, 2023 for Cameroon’s third legislature.
