MINAT hands 38 New Cars to Administrative Authorities

The Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul, has handed 38 cars to some Senior Divisional Officers and Divisional Officers. This was on April 3rd, 2023, at the Yaounde City Hall. He did a test ride on one of the cars, then symbolically handed over car keys to one of the administrative officials. A total of five Senior Division Officers and thirty three Divisional Officers received 38 cars.

Minister Atanga Nji, continued with a talk session, cautioning recipients on proper car usage. He said, the vehicle are from the Head of State who understands their needs. The minister said, it is the second time in two years that vehicles are given to the administrative officials, which marks a total of seventy six vehicles in less than two years given.

He said the presidential plan is to ensure that all administrative authorities get the necessary transportation means. He again enjoined the recipients to use the cars only for administrative purposes and to ensure proper maintenance as though it were their “shirt ” or “tie”.


The occasion to hand cars to administrative authorities rounded off with the signing of documents.

On March 3rd, 2022, there was a similar exercise, as the Minister of Territorial Administration Paul Atanga Nji, handed 40 service vehicles to some Senior Divisional Officers and Divisional Officers in Cameroon. He cautioned the officials to take care of these vehicles in terms of maintenance.
