Enterprisers Trained on Branding

To boost the image of “made in Cameroon goods”, A&M Group Africa and Mind Thrust Consulting, jointly equipped holders of Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMS) on branding. This was at the National Museum, Yaounde, Cameroon during a two day workshop, 27th to to 28th March, 2023.

Wetche Youbi Christel-Diane, CEO of A &M Group Africa told the press that, the image development of a product is plays a vital role in engaging buyers, reason why entrepreneurs are being trained on branding.

Various experts featured at the seminar who educated entrepreneurs on various aspects of branding.

Entrepreneurs who attended the workshop, gathered skills on how to better develop the image of their company, the concept of branding, how to develope a branding strategy, how to better position products and services on the market, how to benefit from the advantages offered by the intercontinental free trade zone and how to develope a brand that would be known among others.

Frank Assou, Director of French digital college and KEYCE Computing & Artificial Intelligence, said branding should have strong impact on products. He said branding is not just a name or logo but should make products unique.

Mbapa Yves Bertrand, Certified Branding Strategist and Founder of Pindo Creativ & Pondo Prix, gave a practical lecture on rebranding. He practically rebranded a poorly branded product.

Mbatcham Santher, Managing Director of ImageNation talked on setting up a brand strategy. She said brands should be charismatic, should create a reputation and evoke a testimony from users.

Dr Manga Nicolas Sylvain, representing the Ministry of Arts and Culture (MINAC) cautioned manufacturers, to make formidable brands that make Cameroon stand out in the international space.

At the workshop, different products, made in Cameroonian were exhibited in an effort to portray homemade goods.
