Global Views is Transforming Youths to Security Managers for Gainful Employment

Global Views Cameroon is transforming youths from idleness to meaningful occupation, from joblessness to employability.

Mr Ntoung Chrisantus Kum is a Physical Security Designer and the promoter of Global Views. He works hand in glove with Mr Otia Suh Vitalis, Senior Biomedical Scientist and Veteran Collywood Movie Actor.

The two personalities are passionate to see that youths obtain decent jobs in the security field with a correspondingly high income.

They are willing to train youths in different areas of security management. They also provide opportunity for amateur security persons to deepen their skills.

Chrisantus and Vitalis are correcting the mistake made by industries especially in Cameroon who often employ amateurs and retirees for the job of a security manager. This poor notion is the reason for loopholes, pilferage, damages and losses in industries since the persons often employed for security jobs are unfit and unproductive.

The duo are thus bent on professionalism. They would train prospective security managers on a range of issues as desired by the traineee. These include; close protection officer (body guard), contingency and fire protection, emergency response management, corporate business management, commercial crime, CCTV, supply chain, incident and accident management, etc.

On Sunday February 5th, 2023, Global Views organised a session in Yaounde and encouraged fifteen youths to begin a training and subsequently grab juicy jobs in security. The youths watched practical videos on security management. They were also educatedon core areas in the soceity where certified security officers are in high demand like financial institutions, schools, hospitals and stadiums. They appealed to the youths to encourage others, especially given that the training program is flexible.

Speaking to to the Press, Mr Kum Chrisantus said ‘Global Views is trying to transform, blend and take faculty to industry so that everybody has the right to benefit from the economic and social freewill by doing something abd earning something. And one of the quickest areas that you can make life is in the security industry whether corporate or industry. They generate income. The youths are not obliged but they have to think very fast and go towards the area that they can make quick jobs. There are varieties of opportunities. Furthermore anybody who needs to know about it can can call me and I will assist that person. Our vision is to transform the youths into skills that will give them quick jobs and we have immediate jobs in the security area. So many of the people heading security management departments are not trained. They just need a small foundation and if you add it to their formal educational background they become qualified” he noted

Mr Otia Suh, a partner with Global Views further gave light to the openings in security. He said “I found this huge opportunity when I met Mr Chrisantus Kum and he shared his vision with me. This is the first step of a huge project that we are beginning. There are a lot of opportunities for the young people in the security domain. I enjoy it and preach it because there are short courses that make you qualified and gives you a certificate that enables you to work and be relevant. I will encourage all young people no matter what profession you are in, to take up a security course and move ahead with. It is short, it is less burdensome, cheap, accessible at your time and the market is waiting for them because so far there are no real private trained security guards”

After listening to motivational talks on the aspect of picking up jobs in security, some youths were willing to embrace the area.
Ndip Elvis Arrey, is one of the youths who wishes to make life in security management. He told the press that
“Security is the protection of human lives and property. I have come to realise that security is much needed in the society. I have accepted to be a security agent because there is a high crime wave in our vicinity because of improper security care. So I would get enforced to be in a society of calmness and prevent crime wave”

Chameh Modes Tasha is a prospective security officer. He is spurred by the profitable areas in security management. He said “Managing security is a great stuff. And I like the field. All the areas are easy. I will like to manage security in a bank, in a hospital and I also like the CCTV area”

Global Views Cameroon maintains that failing to recruit a trained security staff is planning to lose 75% of a company’s income. Global Views has embarked on a journey to train security officers in order to guarantee safety of persons and property and to enable industries to maximize their profit.
