Bike Riders Celebrate President Biya’s 90th Birthday

Commercial motorcyclists in Mfoundi Division of the Center Region, Cameroon have celebrated President Paul Biya’s 90th birth anniversary.

Led by the president of the Bike Riders of Mfoundi, Mbazoa Tsouungui Jules Marie, bikers first assembled at the Yaounde Grandstand then they processed to the office of the governor of the Center Region.

They were clad in T-shirts bearing the image of Paul Biya with the inscription “Happy Birthday His Excellency Paul Biya”
Some of them carried pictures of the Cameroon Head of state while dancing.
They hooted bikes and sang birthday songs. As they arrived the office of the governor of the center region, the bike riders president Mr Mbazoa, presented an envelope to governor Naseri Paul Bea to hand to the Head of State.
The bike riders said they are thanking God for the gift of president Paul Biya who is full of wisdom and good leadership skills especially for uniting them under a bike riders union and ensuring orderliness in their sector. They wished long life to the president and prayed that he may continue to pilot the country entrusted to him. Speaking to the press during the event,

Ngea Romanus Fuh elaborated on the reason for the celebration
“The message we have behind this march today is to wish the Head of State a happy birthday. We are all behind him for his wisdom. He is the father of the nation. We are behind him for wherever he goes and whatever he does. We are thanking the president for uniting us under a union. He is the father of the nation and because of peace we are here. We are here because Cameroon is one, and if not we would not be here. Because it is said that together we stand, divided we fall. We are praying that the limited zones we have been restricted to should be looked into because we are harassed. We are praying that the president does something to help us”
He said

The celebration ended with the cake cutting at the restaurant of the Yaounde City Council.
