Amateur video on Eto’o encounter with man taking video
The incident that engulfed onlookers in shock is said to have occurred late on Monday evening at the 974 Stadium after Brazil’s 4-1 victory over South Korea in the round of 16 at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Eto’o, a brand ambassador of the tournament is seen in the amateur video that had gone wild on social media, taking pictures with fans before venting his anger later on a man who was apparently taking a video of him at close range.
It is not clear what must have caused the fury of the four-time African footballer of the year but he is seen been held back by close aides as he attempts to go out on the videographer who was already on the floor.
The reason for such reaction by the Cameroon Football Administrator explained by legal experts suggest that the videographer had no permission.

“It is a criminal offence to photograph an individual without prior permission or registration.
Taking photographs or clips in a public place with the intention of offending or defaming is punishable by up to two years’ imprisonment and a fine of not more than QR 10,000 or one of the penalties”
Legal staff Al-Subaey adds that “The prescribed penalty applies to anyone who took or transmits photographs or videos of an individual or individual in a public place through a device of any kind, with the intention of using them for abuse or defamation.”

Article 333, which (amended according to Law no. 4 of 2017) aimed at protecting the sanctity of personal life.
