Reverend Father Peter Chefor received a Mass Box and a set of priestly vestments plus an envelope containing cash. The other priest Reverend Father Japheth Tibui received an envelope containing cash plus a set of vestments. J. Mubang handed the gifts to the priests on April 24, 2022 during celebrations marking a thanksgiving Mass of the two priests at Queen of Peace Parish Njimafor, Bamenda. The gifts to Father Peter Chefor was in recognition of him as an ex student of Saint Frederick Comprehensive College Mankon which is a school founded by Frederick Mubang, father of J. Mubang. The benefactor also said he is handing the gifts in recognition of his fellow countryman, a son of Mbatu who has been raised to the order of the ministerial priesthood.

Father Japheth on his part was a beneficiary because his thanksgiving Mass coincided with that of Father Peter. The benefactor also explained that, his gifts to Father Japheth, son of Nsongwa, is because the Nsongwa village which is a neighbour to Mbatu is also experiencing a boom in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. The gifts from Mr Mubang Joseph encouraged other Christians to move up with gifts to the priests. This end of it was cash of more than one hundred thousand francs to each of the priests. The Christians of Njimafor also presented two toyota cars as gifts for the two priests.
